When typing into a textbox, for example, how can I know the actual X position of the caret as it moves along the text line? The characters being typed can be of different sizes and fonts depending on user settings. What I need to know is the position of the caret or more precisely I guess the position just right of the last character in the text line if the caret is not at that position. Also, it is possible that users may insert data (an image, for example) into the line without actually typing anything.
