Im having an error when trying to install visual basic on my windows xp sp3 laptop

Hi, Im having an error when trying to install visual basic on my windows xp sp3 laptop.

There is Insufficient memory to run setup try to close any open windows applications or restarting windows.

I dont under stand because I have 225gb of hard drive and my memory is 3gbs and my cpu is a 3.5 gig.
