How To Do: Insert images in text field

I'm working on a multi-client/server user communication system (aka chat application:wave:). Now just like you see the emot in this line I want to acompolish the same thing except what I want to do is to put the actual image in the line, not the text-code like it's done here, for that image. I know I can't use an ordinary textbox for this and an RTB would work except an RTB cannot show transparency nor animation. So, the first thing that comes to my mind is a WebBrowser. The WebBrowser can display the animated image but then how do I type text into it? Here's where I am having a problem.
