Please help. This did not happen in XP/2000 but is now a problem when we changed to Windows 7/2008 and Word 2007.
I load an RTF file (created using the Rich text control) into an OLE control which is linked to an MS Access field via a Data control. I then display it as a BLOB in Crystal reports 8.5.
Despite all the massive overhead associated with this and other resolution issues (like missing strikeouts and truncated text), MS Word decides to fire up in the background and then Lock the rtf document which is my main problem at the moment.
Any ideas ?:confused:
If I ever get this solved I want to get rid of the ole field and just use RTF encoding in crystal but that means I lose any images that people may have embedded in their document...
